Week 9 Fantasy Football Starts/Sits

Here we are at week 9. Your fantasy team is either your best friend on Sunday or you are throwing your mobile device in anger. Lets look at some starts and sits to get you ready for your week 9 matchups.

Quarterback

Start - Andy Dalton. Dalton is looking to bounce back after a poor performance last week. No better team than against the Browns. Cleveland is giving an average of 18 pts per game to quarterbacks. Start the Red Headed Gunner!

Sit - Blake Bortles. The Jags are having to travel to New York. That defense is not as bad as last week. Look for them to bounce back this week. That makes Bortles a sit.

Sleeper - Jameis Winston - I like their chances with some big plays on the outside. This kid is making strides. Winston could have a big game.

Running Back

Start - Ronnie Hillman. The Broncos have found their running game. The Colts defense is not strong against the run. Giving up the 6th most to fantasy running backs. This is a good game for starting Ronnie Hillman.

Sit - Rashad Jennings. I like the Bucs run defense. The Giants may have to win this game through the air. Jennings is a sit.

Sleeper - Jeremy Langford. Traveling to San Diego and may not have Matt Forte. Langford is showing signs that he could become the guy in Chicago.

Wide Receiver

Start - Steve Johnson. The loss of Keenan Allen is huge a hit. This opens the door for Johnson to make a case for return.

Sit - Jordan Matthews. There are bigger issues at QB in Philly then is being led on. Bradford is off. That makes Matthews a sit.

Sleeper - Travis Benjamin. Some of his best statistical games are when Johnny is in at QB. This is because of Manzeil's ability to extend plays. That makes Benjamin a good start.

Tight End

Start - Jordan Reed. He is a beast when he is healthy. Him and Kirk Cousins have a tight bond. He will get 12 targets a game. Having DeSean Jackson back will also help the underneath.

Sit - Vernon Davis. Not sure if he will even suit up this week. That makes this a no brainer.

Sleeper - Richard Rodgers. Coby Fleener had a big game over the middle against the Panthers defense. Look for Rodgers to Rodgers to do the same thing.

Defense

Start - Atlanta Falcons. After having a bad couple of weeks there is not a better bounce back than Blaine Gabbert. Start the Falcons.

Sit - Carolins Panthers. They have lost some depth. We saw what happes when teams go up-tempo. That is all the Packers do. Not a good week to start the Panthers.

Sleeper - Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I like their matchup this week against the Giants. I look for them to be able to build off of last week.
