Fantasy Football Start/Sits Week 15

This a critical week for many fantasy owners. Some leagues are in week 2 of the playoffs, and some could be in championship week. No matter where you are sitting this will get you ready for your playoff run!

Quarterbacks

Start - Alex Smith. Sometime he can be very untrusting. However, lately he has been very trusting. Keep your trust in him with a matchup against the Ravens.

Sit - Eli Manning. This is a bad matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Josh Norman going against OBJ makes it even less of a go. Keep Eli on your bench.

Starter - Ryan Tannehill. Some may see this as a sit. I see Tannehill doing good things against a Chargers defense that is looking for houses in LA.

Running Backs

Start - Eddie Lacy. He has gotten back out of the Mike McCarthy dog house. Also, with McCarthy calling plays again there is a new found love for the running game. Go with Eddie in your lineup.

Sit - Javorius Allen. Last week against Seattle he only put up 3 fantasy pts in most formats. Do not expect much more against the Chiefs.

Sleeper - Denard Robinson. Look for Robinson to get his fair share of carries on Sunday. TJ Yeldon is not looking good. If Denard is available grab him off the wire.

Wide Receivers

Start - John Brown. Any Cardinals receiver is a good chaoice. Particularly is John Brown. He has 11 or more pts in 6 of his last 7 games. Good matchup against Philly makes him a go in your lineup.

Sit - Dez Bryant. Only scoring 6 pts or less in 4 of his last 5 games. Playing out on an island makes this easy. Dez to the bench!

Sleeper - Golden Tate. Look for New Orleans to try and take out Calvin Johnson. However, they may be taking out the wrong guy. Tate has been productive. Start the Golden boy.

Tight Ends

Start - Gary Barnidge. Seattle has allowed 7 Tds and more than 9pts per game to the position this season. Barnidge has also scored in his last 2 games that he has played with Johnny Manziel.

Sit - Jason Witten. Jets have averaged fewer than 6pts/game to the tight end. Witten has also scored fewer than 7 pts in all but one of his last 11 games.

Sleeper - Richard Rodgers. Rodgers has scored a TD 5 times in his last 6 games. Look for the to continue against the Raiders.

Defense

Start - Houston Texans. They were humiliated against the Patriots. Look for them to rebound against the Colts and Charlie Whitehurst.

Sit - Detroit Lions. This defense has been tough over the past 5 weeks. They do not have a good matchup against Drew Brees. Defenses are only scoring 5 pts/game over the last 4 weeks when playing Drew Brees.

Sleeper - Minnesota Vikings. Playing a turnover prone Jay Cutler. I know that they are hurt, but a wounded animal is sometimes more dangerous. With a playoff spot on the line look for the Vikes to come out strong.

The playoffs are a fun time. If your have any questions that do not relate to these players give me a shout. Twitter @nails2821, email - ratpackfantasyguru@gmail.com.
