Fantasy Football Week 13 Starts and Sits

Week thirteen of the NFL and fantasy season is here. This is the last week of the NFL Fantasy Regular Season. If you need one game, this is that game. We are here to get you ready for the playoffs or in the playoffs. In saying that, here are your week thirteen starts n sits.

Starts

QB

Lamar Jackson – Baltimore Ravens

Jackson is set to make his third start for the Ravens. He has played well in the previous two starts. Continuing to play well will result in him staying in the starting lineup. Even when Joe Flacco is healthy. A matchup against the Atlanta Falcons should make that happen.

RB

Chris Carson – Seattle Seahawks

Carson has scored a TD in three of his last four games. Even with the emergence of Rashaad Penny and Mike Davis, Carson is still seeing 20+ touches per game. A matchup against the San Francisco 49ers makes him a solid starter.

WR

Kenny Golladay – Detroit Lions

Golladay is the man in Detroit. Especially without Marvin Jones Jr on the field. Since week 10, Golladay has been the most targeted WR in the NFL. The ball could be in the air a lot against the Los Angeles Rams this weekend. Keep Golladay on the field.

TE

David Njoku – Cleveland Browns

A matchup against the Houston Texans on Sunday keeps Njoku in your lineup. They have surrendered six TDs and are giving 15 FPPG to TEs.

K

Cody Parkey – Chicago Bears

Parkey could be a one week wonder this week. The New York Giants are the worst team against kickers. They have given 30 attempts (most in the NFL) and 28 conversions to (most in the NFL) to opposing kickers.

Defense

Indianapolis Colts

The Colts were listed as a starter last week. However, they put a whopping 5 FP. I am sticking with them again this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. No Leonard Fournette and Cody Kessler under center make this ideal.

These are your true players to get you in the playoffs. Now let us look at the imposters.

SITS

QB

Ryan Tannehill – Miami Dolphins

Tannehill returned last week with a nice performance against the Indianapolis Colts. Who doesn’t However, week 13 he faces the Buffalo Bills. They have allowed the third-fewest TD passes to QBs.

RB

Peyton Barber – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Barber has cemented himself as the lead back for the Bucs. This week a matchup against the Carolina Panthers has him on the fantasy bench. They have allowed the 8th fewest FPPG to opposing backs.

WR

Golden Tate – Philadelphia Eagles

Tate has seen the ball only 16 times since he has come over the Eagles. While the defense of the Washington redskins has been in a slide, Tate should not see much success. The Skins are only giving up .3 TDs PG in the slot.

TE

Chris Herndon – New York Jets

Herndon has been very friendly over the past couple of weeks. He has double-digit points in four of his last six games. Bench him this week against Titans. They are allowing 7 FPPG to the position.

K

Aldrick Rosas – New York Giants

Rosas is a tough start this week. He has been on fire with the Giants current playing streak. However, a week 13 game against the Chicago Bears could see Rosas with a lack of production.

Defense

Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers have been a consistent starting fantasy defense through 12 weeks. This final week they are a bench. They have to travel to Heinz Field to play the Pittsburgh Steelers. Opposing defenses have been shredded to the tune of .4 FPPG at Heinz.

So, there you have it. Your season finale starts and sits. If you are just playing it out, we will see you next year. Additionally, if you are playing for a playoff spot, Good Luck. Finally, if you are in the playoffs, we will see you next week.
