Fantasy Football Start'em/ Sit'em Week 9
Week 9 is upon us. Most of the playoffs, in the fantasy world, start in week 13 or 14. So we are now officially in the stretch run. At this point, you are either in or out. There may be a few teetering on the fence. With all that being said, let's get you ready for week 9. Here is your start em n sit em for week 9.
Dak Prescott – This game should be high scoring. Neither team is very good against the pass and both teams have excellent weapons. KC is giving up 20+ points to the home QB.
Aaron Jones – Jones has stolen the show for the Green Bay Packers. He is now a viable running back for a team that has bad success at the position. He is a solid week 9 play against the Lions.
Devin Funchess – Funchess just became the number one target for Cam Newton. A solid spot against the Falcons secondary who gives up points to WR keeps him in your lineup.
Jack Doyle – Doyle was a hot item last week. If you played him, good for you! This week play him for sure. The Texans have been very TE friendly in recent weeks.
Harrison Butker – He was a scoring machine on Monday Night. Since being called up from the Panthers practice squad all he has done is score. He should be a mainstay in your lineup.
Los Angeles Rams – The Rams are coming off the bye week and should be healthy against a weak Giants offense. Opposing defenses have finished top 10 in four out of seven games against the Giants.
Josh McCown – McCown has been playing well over the past couple of weeks. Well enough to earn spot starts in your fantasy lineup. Just not this week against the Buffalo Bills. Only one QB has gone higher than 15 points
Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles – Top two run defenses in the game ace each other in Philly. Not a good matchup fantasy game for RBs to produce.
A.J Green – The Bengals offense had a mild epiphany last week against the Colts. However, the still did not dominate and the Jaguars defense is 10x the Colts.
O.J. Howard – Howard has a difficult matchup in week 9 against a Saints defense that has been rough on TEs. The position is only averaging 9 FPPG.
Steven Hauschka – Watch out for this game. It could be better than people think. It could also be low scoring making the kickers obsolete.
Cincinnati Bengals – Last week they gave up over 300 yards to the Colts. This could be a solid game for Blake Bortles and the Jaguars offense. Bench the Bengals.
That is your complete list of starts and sits for week 9. The stretch run has begun. Keep your eyes focused on the waiver wire and trades in your league. They could help you out in the end.
