Week 6 Start'em/Sit'em

Week 6 in fantasy is looking like chalk. But here are some not so easy answers to some questions you may have about your line up.

Quarterback

Start – Teddy Bridgewater. Has a favorable matchup against KC. They will also be able to establish AP which will help the pass game. Bridgewater should be solid for your line-up.

Sit – Josh McCown. McCown has been one of the highest fantasy scoring players for the past 2 weeks. Not this week. Denver is allowing an average of 7 pts fantasy pts to opposing QBs. Sit Josh McCown.

Sleeper – Cam Newton. Although Cam does not have a good track record against the Seahawks, This yr seems different. Newton is averaging 25+ pts a start. I think he will stay hot!

Running Back

Start – TJ Yeldon. Houston is allowing the seventh most running back points to fantasy backs. This should allow Yeldon to have quite the solid game.

Sit – Ameer Abdullah. Looks like the Lions are a mess. They may try to throw a little more to get Stafford back on track.

Sleeper – Carlos Hyde. Ravens defense is being depleted weekly. They have given up 22 fantasy pts per game over the last 2 weeks.

Wide Receiver

Start – Calvin Johnson. The Lions are going to look to get Matt Stafford back on track. His favorite target is Calvin Johnson. Besides that CJ has at least 1 score in 5 of his last 6 games against the Bears.

Sit –Percy Harvin. He has been surprise for the Bills and fantasy owners so far this year. But this week playing with a backup QB and against the Bengals defense does not bode well for him.

Sleeper – DeSean Jackson. Keep your eye on this one for health. But I feel that he will be in the lineup and big play maker for the Redskins this week!

Tight End

Start – Delanie Walker. Miami is coming off the bye week with a new Head Coach and DC. While I think this will help Miami in a victory I see Walker scoring against them. Miami is one of the top in giving up points to the tight end.

Sit – Jimmy Graham. There are finally other options at tight end. Carolina is one of the best in not allowing fantasy points to the tight end.

Sleeper – Julius Thomas. Jacksonville has a very good matchup to help them score this week. Houston is not as strong on defense as they were once thought to be. Look for the Jags to be productive.

Defense

Start – Green Bay Packers. The Chargers are not a good road team early on this year. This could play right into the Packers hands. Get Rivers rattled and win the game going away.

Sit – Indianapolis Colts. Just not a very good matchup this week against the Patriots.

Sleeper – Pittsburgh Steelers. Look for the Steelers to use some blitzes to try and get to Carson Palmer. They will force him into a couple of mistakes.
