Week 12 Start'em/ Sit'em

With your season winding down it is time to focus on your playoff roster. You need a strong roster to make it deep and play for a championship. Let’s get you ready for week 12!

Quarterbacks

Start – Ben Roethlisberger – Yes I understand he is playing in Seattle. However, QBs are finding success against the Legion. He has weapons. Look for a good day from Big Ben.

Sit – Tony Romo. Last week he was a start. This week he is a sit. The pass rush of the Panthers is nothing to joke about. Romo is going to get hit and hit a lot.

Sleeper – Matthew Stafford. The Lions have found some rhythm to their offense. They have a good matchup this week against the Eagles. Look for Stafford to put up big numbers.

Running Backs

Start – Chris Ivory. Miami is giving up 27 points to running backs since week 8. Miami cannot stop the run. Ivory is good to go this week.

Sit – Lamar Miller. On the flip side of the start you are going want to sit his counterpart. The Jets are a solid defense and Miller should find it tough to get going.

Sleeper – DeAngelo Williams. The Steelers like to pound the ball between the tackles. This is where Seattle is suspect. Look for Williams to pound out some points.

Wide Receivers

Start – DeSean Jackson. Look for the Redskins to take some deep shots against an aggressive Giants defense. Jackson missed the first game. He showed up last week and should show up again this week

Sit – T.Y Hilton. Tough to sit him against a pass defense like Tampa Bay. However, the Bucs have gotten better over the past couple of weeks. This makes Hilton not a good option.

Sleeper

Martavis Bryant. The Steelers are going to be able to do some good things against the Seattle defense. Look for the legion to try and roll coverage to AB giving Bryant some good targets.

Tight Ends

Start – Julius Thomas. Blake Bortles is getting more comfortable with the big fella. He will get his fair share of targets against a weak Chargers defense.

Sit -Charles Clay. Over the past 4 weeks offenses are not scoring against the Chiefs. That is bad news to Buffalo.

Sleeper – Jordan Reed. Giants are struggling to stop the tight end. Tight ends are averaging 16 pts over the past 4 weeks.

Defense

Start – Green Bay Packers. Jay Culter sucks at Lambeau. Look for the Packers to get pressure and disrupt the offense all night.

Sit – Buffalo Bills. Kansas City is one of the hottest teams in the league right now. After playing New England tough Rex’s boys could be in for a letdown.

Sleeper – Kansas City Chiefs. Buffalo may have to turn their service over to EJ Manuel. If that is the case the Chiefs defense could be in for some fun of their own.

The fantasy playoffs are right around the corner. Is your roster ready? Week 12 is first.

Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving!
