Week 7 Fantasy Football Start'em/Sit'em

When you are talking fantasy football you are talking about week 7 beginning the stretch run or the push to the playoffs. You need to be making smart waiver wire decisions and bye week starts to stay competitive. Let’s get you ready with your Start Em and Sit Em for week 7.

Start Em

Quarterback

Kirk Cousins. Cousins is returning to his form of 2015. After a slow start he has finally found a rhythm. 8 TDs to 3 INTs over the 4 game win streak. Playing a Lions defense in week 7 that is very suspect to the pass. They have the highest completion percentage (74%) and most passing TDs (17) against an opposing def.

Running Back

Chris Ivory. The Raiders have one of the worst run defenses in the league. This comes as a surprise. They are giving up 132 yards per game. They have also allowed 7 rushing TDs. Look for Ivory to finally have a solid game.

Wide Receiver

DeSean Jackson. With Kirk Cousins finally getting in rhythm, wide receivers are finally getting in rhythm. Also, with the strong possibility of not having TE Jordan Reed again, makes D-Jax a strong start. Plus you want those double points.

Tight End

Hunter Henry. After what did to exploit the Broncos he should be getting a heavy look for your lineup. He should be well targeted by Philip Rivers. Also, the Falcons defense has yielded the 4th most fantasy points to TEs (12 FPPG).

Kicker

Mason Crosby. He is facing a Chicago Bears defense that is giving up an average of 11 FPPG to the kickers. That is second worst in the league. This make Crosby a solid start on Thursday night.

Defense

Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are playing a New York Jets team that has lost everything it had in 2015. Defenses in 2016 have averages 13 FPPG against Ryan Fitzpatrick. That is Fitzpatrick, and the Jets are going with Geno Smith now. That makes the Ravens a strong start in week 7.

Sit Em

Quarterback

Carson Wentz. Wentz is coming off one of his worst performances of the season. It does not help that this week he is playing a fresh off the bye Minnesota Vikings defense. They Vikings are only averaging 13 FPPG to opposing QBs.

Running Back

Jay Ajayi. People are going to want to jump on the week 6 train from this guy. Don’t be so fast to get your tickets. Playing a bills defense that is very difficult against the run when playing at home.

Wide Receiver

Antonio Brown. Why sit the best player on the field? No Ben Roethlisberger that’s why. In 2015 AB became non-existent when Ben was out. I expect that to be the case again.

Tight End

Dwayne Allen. Tennessee has been tough on tight ends all season long. Only 1 has scored over 6 FP all year. This makes for a poor matchup for Allen. Not only that, he is coming off an ankle injury that he suffered Sunday Night.

Kicker

Chris Boswell. I do not expect the Steelers to be able to move the ball very well. Usually that bodes well for a kicker, but when I say well I mean not at all. This is a tough matchup all the way around. Boswell is a no go.

Defense

Philadelphia Eagles. Look for a similar performance from the Eagles defense as you saw in week 6. They will be on the field quite a bit in this game. That makes it hard to not get winded and be out performed. Stay away from the Eagles in week 7.

The push has begun. Make sure you are making your moves and watching your bye weeks. It could either be the end or the beginning of something special.

Good Luck
