Week 9 Fantasy Football Start'em/Sit'em

As we enter week 9 of the fantasy season, we are striving towards the playoffs. If you are staying on top of things I hope you are headed to the top. If not, there is always next year. Let’s get you ready for week 9 of your fantasy season.
Start Em
Quarterback
Ryan Tannehill. Tannehill this week makes a great one week starter. With 6 teams having a bye you may be looking for a quarterback. The Jets have allowed 5 different QBs to score 17 or more points including Josh McCown last week.
Running Back
Terrance West. West is great start against the Steelers. Yes, against the Steelers. The Steelers have allowed 11 rushing TDs and averaging 25 FPPG to opposing RBs.
Wide Receiver
Quincy Enunwa. He is a great start because he has become the big play guy for the Jets. With teams rolling coverage towards Brandon Marshall and he also being second in the league in drops (6), makes Enunwa worth looking at.
Tight End
Gary Barnidge. Yes, I am going with a Brown. Start Barnidge against the Cowboys defense that has lost Safety Barry Church and CB Morris Claiborne. This should help open up a better Browns passing attack with QB Josh McCown.
Kicker
Steven Hauschka. Start Hauschka this week against the Bills defense. Buffalo has allowed double-digit fantasy points to at least 3 different kickers this season.
Defense
Los Angeles Rams. Even though they are playing the Carolina Panthers, I would start the Rams. The defense has scored the 4th most points against the Panthers this season. That puts the Rams back into your lineup after their bye week.
Sit Em
Quarterback
Russell Wilson. Playing a tough Bills defense that can be lethal on opposing QBs. Also, after last week we can see that maybe, just maybe Wilson is not yet 100% from all his injuries. This week I am sitting him.
Running Back
Isiah Crowell. Crowell is losing snaps to Duke Johnson Jr. This makes him a hard play in any week. This in week is particularly harder because the Cowboys are only allowing an average of 13 FPPG to RBs.
Wide Receiver
Mike Wallace. Even though the Steelers have their woes with opposing RBs, the same is not the case with WRs. They are giving the 4th fewest 17 FPPG to the position. I would sit Wallace.
Tight End
Charles Clay. I do not like this matchup against the Seahawks. I see this as a low scoring game with both defenses having an advantage. I would keep Clay on the bench against the LOB.
Kicker
Blair Walsh. The Vikings are in trouble on offense. This makes Walsh a troubling play. Walsh hasn’t scored more than 7 points since week 1. The Lions have given a combined 17 points to kickers over the last 3 weeks.
Defense
Dallas Cowboys. This week is a road matchup in Cleveland. I am taking the offense in this one. No Barry Church and no Morris Claiborne helps out the Cleveland offense. This offense is also more formidable with Josh McCown behind center.
