Fantasy Football Starts and Sits Week 2

Week one saw some unexpected fantasy results. After one week the guru went 3-2. Looking for some better results in week 2? Here are some starts and sits to consider.

Start Em

Quarterback

Carson Palmer – Last week was not a very good week for the Palmer and the Cardinals. This week is a better matchup. Colts are possibly the worst defense in the league.

Running Back

Terrance West – West will see an increase in his workload with the injury to Danny Woodhead. This will be a true test to see how improved the Cleveland Browns defense really is.

Wide Receiver

Chris Hogan – This will be a much better week for the New England Patriots offense. Mr. Brady will not let there be a repeat of last week. Sorry Saints fans.

Tight End

Jimmy Graham – Graham is one of the best TEs in the game today. He will see increased action against a hurting 49ers defense.

Kickers

Giorgio Tavecchio – This should be a high scoring affair. For the Oakland Raiders that is. Take the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Defense

Tampa Bay Buccaneers – I like the Bucs this week to control the Bears offense. Having 2 weeks to prepare for an opponent is always an advantage.

Sit Em

Quarterback

Blake Bortles – Not sure that anybody is even looking this route. However, he did have quietly 3 TDs last week. Not this week. Tennessee will be ready.

Running Back

Adrian Peterson – Yes he started last week. However, he only played 9 snaps. It’s a moot point to play him in week 2.

Wide Receiver

T.Y. Hilton – Simply put, No QB!!

Tight End

Jason Witten – He is now the leading receiver in Dallas Cowboys history. Good thing he got that last week. Broncos only gave up 4 points to TEs last week.

Kickers

Greg Zuerlein – Zuerlein had a nice double digit performance in week one. Not this week. Redskins only gave up 6 points per game on the road last year.

Defense

Jacksonville Jaguars – Last week they had 10 sacks and were flying all over the field. The Titans offense will fair much better.

How did you fair in week one? I hope that the surprises did not cost you a win.

Week two will not be without its surprises. Good luck!
