Week 5 Fantasy Football Starts/Sits

How are you doing through the first 4 weeks of the fantasy season? The Guru went 4-1 last week. Are you scavaging the waiver wire? Now is the more important times to find that waiver gem. Week 5 brings the beginning of the bye week. Time to focus on your lineup. Here is your Start Em n Sit Ems for this week. (Bye Weeks – Redskins, Broncos, Falcons, Saints)
Start Em
Quarterback
Jameis Winston – New England is not the same as in years past. They currently last in the league in defense. They also give up the most QB fantasy points thus far.
Running Back
Bilal Powell – Had a solid week against one of the better defenses in the league last week. This week against the Browns could lead to more solid numbers.
Wide Receiver
Adam Thielen – He has not had the best start to the season. However, a matchup against the Bears on Monday night should help. Bears surrender the 2nd most TDs to the slot.
Tight End
Hunter Henry – Look for Henry to build on a solid week 4. The Giants have been very tight end friendly over the first four weeks.
Kicker
Greg Zuerline – This should be a very strong start in your fantasy lineup. Seahawks have given up 9 FGs on the season.
Defense
Buffalo Bills – They have been surprising on this young season. They have a good matchup against the Bengals who have not been good at home.
Sit Em
Quarterback
Jared Goff – yes he has a 7-1 TD to INT ratio. The Seahawks are only giving up 12 fantasy points to opposing QBs.
Running Back
Eddie Lacy – Many jumped on Eddie Lacy once Chris Carson went down. But the way that Pete Carrol uses RBs I would not be surprised if J.D. McKissic sees the bulk.
Wide Receiver
Alshon Jeffery – Jeffery has not been the #1 WR that the Eagles had hoped he would be. He only has one game with over 12 fantasy points.
Tight End
Julius Thomas – The Miami Dolphins offense is a question mark right now. Many did not think they would be this bad-off without Ryan Tannehill. Thomas is a definite sit.
Kicker
Chandler Catanzaro – Jets vs Browns. Although Chandler has been very reliable for the Jets, the Browns are only averaging 6pts to opposing kickers.
Defense
Seattle Seahawks – The Rams give the Seahawks troubles. Especially in recent years. Additionally, this is not your typical Rams team.
Remember my saying, Fantasy Champions are drafted they are built. Keep your eyes on the wire and good luck in week 5.
