Week 7 Fantasy Football Starts and Sits
Here we are, week 7 of the fast-moving NFL and fantasy football season. Last week saw some surprises, Adrian Peterson. It also saw some flubs, Aaron Rodgers. How does week 7 look? Here are your start em n sit em for the week.
Start Em
Quarterback
Marcus Mariota – Mariota came back Monday night and had a modest outing against the Colts. He has a week 7 matchup against the Browns. They make everyone healthy.
Running back
Carlos Hyde – Hyde had two TDs against the Redskins last week. He should be able to have a better performance against the Dallas Cowboys. They are averaging 13 FPPG to opposing backs.
Wide Receiver
Dez Bryant – The 49ers secondary is awful. How the Redskins did not take better advantage of it is a good question. They average 34 FPPG to opposing WRs.
Tight End
Kyle Rudolph – Even with Case Keenum starting you should play Rudolph. The Ravens are poor against the TE. They gave double-digit point to both Bears TEs in last week. Rudolph should produce.
Kicker
Graham Gano – The Bears are giving up points to fantasy kickers. In fact, three of the seven they have faced have finished with double-digit scores.
Defense
Tennessee Titans – They play the Cleveland Browns. That is a matchup that can get any team points. Along with the fact that the Browns are going back to DeShone Kizer.
Sit Em
Quarterback
Jameis Winston – Winston does not look like himself lately. On the road against the Bills could be another bad outing.
Running Back
Orleans Darkwa – He put up 117 on the Denver Broncos. Do not be so quick to “rush” to judgment on that. The Seahawks will offer stiff competition.
Wide Receiver
Alshon Jeffery – Washington has been tight on coverage. Especially against number one WRs. They are allowing the fewest fantasy points to WR1s.
Tight End
Martellus Bennett – Packers are starting a backup QB, Brett Hundley. Plus a tough defensive matchup against New Orleans does not bode well.
Kicker
Nick Rose – Obvious, do not start a kicker who is kicking for the first time in the NFL. Especially on Monday Night in a critical game.
Defense
Arizona Cardinals – While they were able to have success against Tampa Bay last week, the same will not be said this week. The Rams are a top 10 offense. They also have a Top 10 RB. It could be difficult for the Cardinals defense in London.
There you have your week seven starts and sits. As always, I hope you are keeping that eye on the waiver wire. Crunch time is coming upon us.
