Fantasy Football Start'em and Sit'em Week 12

As we head into week 12 of the fantasy football season, for most it is the final week. Unless you are one of the chosen to be able to make the playoffs. Whether you are playing out the string or getting to ride the waves, we are here to get you ready for the week. Below are your week 12 Start Em n Sit Em.

Start Em

Quarterback

Matt Ryan – He had a solid performance Monday Night against the Seattle Seahawks. I expect him to continue that effort against the Buccaneers. Ryan has 20+ FPPG in their last 4 meetings in ATL.

Running Back

Duke Johnson – The Bengals like to give up points to the running back. The last 7 games RBs are averaging in the top 20 in scoring. Johnson is a solid start.

Wide Receiver

Jamison Crowder – The injury to Chris Thompson helps his cause. Playing the Giants helps his cause. The Giants give up the 6th most fantasy points to slot WRs.

Tight End

Jared Cook – Cook has himself a golden matchup this week against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos are giving up 19.5 FPPG to TEs away from Mile High.

Kicker

Justin Tucker – AutomaTuck has double-digit scores in 5 of his last 6 games. During that span, he is averaging 12 FPPG.

Defense

Philadelphia Eagles – The Eagles are one of the best defenses in the league. They have an ideal matchup against the Chicago Bears in week 12.

Sit Em

Quarterback

Derek Carr – Carr has just 1 TD pass in six of his last seven games. While the Broncos defense has not been particularly great, neither has Carr.

Running Back

Alex Collins – The Texans defense is only allowing 14 FPPG to RBs and has not given up a TD when they are on the road.

Wide Receiver

Jordy Nelson – This is a not a good matchup for Jordy Nelson let alone the Packers. The Steelers are the third-rated pass defense in the league.

Tight End

Austin Seferian-Jenkins – ASJ is a definite sit this week. The Carolina Panthers have only allowed a tight end to score in just three games all season.

Kicker

Mike Nugent – It is unclear if he will even be kicking Thursday. However, if he does he will not be very spectacular. The Chargers only allow 6 FPPG to opposing kickers.

Defense

New Orleans Saints – They Saints are playing the highest scoring offense in the league. Last week they gave up 30 to the Redskins. This week could be a repeat performance.

Week 12 signals the final week in the fantasy regular season. Does your squad have what it takes to make the playoffs? Good Luck!
