Week 14 Fantasy Football Start's and Sit's
Week 14 in the NFL means that it is Week one in your fantasy playoffs. I hope that you are having the pleasure of playing in your leagues second season. If you are not so lucky, I send my apologies. Let's get all you playoff teams ready for this playoff edition of Start Em n Sit Em.
Start Em
Quarterback
Josh McCown – McCown is averaging 18 pts in 5 of his last 7 games. He has a matchup against the Broncos this week. Denver is allowing QBs to perform very well at Mile High. I like McCown this week.
Running Back
Rex Burkhead – Burkhead has 15 or more points in 3 of his last 4 games. The Dolphins are the worst team against receiving RBs. Burkhead should be a solid player.
Wide Reciever
Josh Gordon – Gordon had 11 targets on his return last week. This week they play the Packers who have allowed the 4th most FPPG to WRs. 13 TDs
Tight End
Jason Witten – Although Witten has been up and down all season, this week should be up. The Giants allow the most TDs, 10 and the highest FPPG to TEs, 17.
Kicker
Dan Bailey – Bailey had a good return last week against the Redskins. He should stay in your lineup this week against the Giants. Bailey put up 13 in week one against them.
Defense
New York Jets – The Jets have a very good matchup this week against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos are averaging three TOs per game.
Sit Em
Quarterback
Cam Newton – The Vikings are allowing just 13 FPPG to QBS. They also allow the fewest rushing yards to QBs.
Running Back
Latavius Murray – The Panthers are only allowing 3.7 yards/carry. Their defense has also only given up three rushing TDs on the season.
Wide Receiver
Jordy Nelson – Nelson has not caught more than 5 passes since the breaking of Aaron Rodgers. The Browns have only allowed one receiver to finish in the top 20 in the last four weeks.
Tight End
David Njoku – Should not be very strong against the Packers. Only one TE has finished better than 14th for the week. Cameron Brate last week.
Kicker
Brandon McManus – McManus has a total of 10 points in his last three games. Make that four. The Jets only allow 6 FPPG to kickers away from MetLife.
Defense
Philadelphia Eagles – The Eagles are the best defense in the league. However, a matchup against the Rams could do them in. Opposing defenses are only averaging 3.2 against Jared Goff.
I hope that you are all set for your playoffs. Good luck.
