Fantasy Football Week 6 Start'em & Sit'em
Here we are, week 6 of the 2018 NFL Season. How is your fantasy football team performing so far? Are you looking like you are in playoff contention? If not, now is the time to make your move to become a contender. It is time to hit the waiver wire or even make some trades to get your team competitive. Paying attention to bye weeks is also important. In saying that, here are your starts and sits for your week six fantasy football team.
Jameis Winston – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Winston makes his first start of the season after returning from suspension. He faces the Atlanta Falcons who have given up 35 FPPG at home. What is even more of a kicker is that the Falcons are giving up 32 FPPG to the QB.
Marshawn Lynch – Oakland Raiders
Lynch and the Raiders play the Seattle Seahawks in week 6. This is a revenge game for Lynch. It is the first time that Lynch will face his old team. A player usually performs better with a chip in his shoulder. Lynch has that facing the Seahawks.
Tyler Boyd – Cincinnati Bengals
Boyd is on the rise. If you have any opportunity to add him to your roster, make it happen. The Pittsburgh Steelers are weak on the inside of their defense. Boyd runs most of his routes from the slot. Thus making it difficult on the Steelers defense.
Jimmy Graham – Green Bay Packers
The Packers have an ideal passing matchup against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night. It also helps the case of Graham that the Packers are hurting at WR. Geronimo Allison and Randall Cobb are each struggling with injuries.
Cody Parkey – Chicago Bears
Parkey is a very underrated kicker. He is available in most fantasy leagues that I looked in. He has double-digit scores in three out of four games this season. If you can, go out and Parkey Cody on your roster.
The Texans have a prime matchup against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills have allowed 22 sacks to opposing defenses. This is tops in the league. This will give J.J. Watt and company a fine playground on Sunday.
Philip Rivers – Los Angeles Chargers
Rivers has been a hot commodity as a fantasy starter thru five games. However, this week could be very difficult against a Cleveland Browns defense that is only giving up 8 FPPG to the opposing QB.
Dion Lewis – Tennessee Titans
Lewis and the Titans have a tough matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are top 5 in all defensive categories. This will make it difficult for the Titans offense to move the ball. Making Lewis a bad play win week six.
Jamison Crowder – Washington Redskins
The offense of the Redskins is in a bit of a bind right now. They are trying to find an identity under Alex Smith. Until they establish themselves as a run-first or a pass-first offense, playing a member of the Skins becomes difficult.
Geoff Swaim – Dallas Cowboys
Swaim has had breakout games the past couple of weeks. This week against the Jacksonville Jaguars will be a different story. The Jags have only allowed one TD to a TE all season long.
Graham Gano – Carolina Panthers
Gano was a solid option last week. He even nailed a 63-yard FG to win the game. This week may not be so good. The Redskins defense is only allowing 4 FPPG to kickers at Fed-Ex Field.
New York Jets
The Jets are the number one fantasy defense. Although a major portion of that came on week one against the Detroit Lions. A week six matchup against Andrew Luck at the Met brings a difficult matchup for the Jets.
Here are your starts and sits for week 6. The Guru went 2-2 last week. Hey, you cannot win them all. Good Luck!!
