Fantasy Football Starts & Sit's Week 11

Week eleven of the NFL and fantasy season is here. Time is running out on those teams who are on the bubble. If you are one of them I hope that you have been paying attention to our starts n sits. In addition, have you been scouring the waiver wire week in and week out? If so, you should have some solid footing heading towards the playoffs. In saying that, here are your week eleven starts n sits.

Starts

QB

Marcus Mariota – Tennessee Titans

Mariota has been tremendous in the past three weeks. In fact, his last two games have given fantasy owners 20+ point weeks. Stay with him this week against the Indianapolis Colts who gave up 20 points to Blake Bortles last week.

RB

Aaron Jones – Green Bay Packers

Jones tore up the Miami Dolphins defense last week for over 30 FP. He has been trending upwards in the Packers offense. He has another solid matchup against the Seattle Seahawks who are giving up 6 yards per carry.

WR

Sterling Shepard – New York Giants

Shepard was a last minute add for me last week and found the end zone over the San Francisco 49ers. This week he has a more than ideal matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They give up the most yards to slot receivers. Not to mention a QB rating of 137.

TE

O.J. Howard – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Washington Redskins shut down Howard last week. However, this week against the Giants, Howard should be more productive. They make George Kittle look like a Pro Bowl Starter on Monday night.

K

Ryan Succop – Tennessee Titans

Succop played a solid role in the upset win over the New England Patriots last week. He has another fantastic matchup against the Colts in week 11. Their defense is giving up the most FGA/Game and kickers are averaging 10 FPPG against them.

Defense

Carolina Panthers

That Panthers have a friendly matchup in week 11 against the Detroit Lions. The Lions have allowed Matt Stafford to be sacked 20 times. The Lions are allowing 11+ FP to opposing defenses. Play them in week 11.

These are the players that you should play with confidence. Who are the ones you should sit? Take a look below.

Sits

QB

Philip Rivers – Los Angeles Chargers

Rivers is leading the second best team in the AFC. Nonetheless, a divisional matchup against the Denver Broncos is always tough. Rivers is only averaging 15 FPPG against them in his last seven starts.

RB

Jordan Howard – Chicago Bears

Howard is not the starting running back he once was. He is seeing a loss of production in this Matt Nagy offense. This is more suitable for Tarik Cohen. Especially this week against the Minnesota Vikings.

WR

Demaryius Thomas – Houston Texans

Thomas will see his second week of game action for the Texans. He is struggling to find fantasy point the last three weeks and that trend could continue against the Redskins. Yes, even despite the Redskins giving up 500+ yards to the Bucs.

TE

Jordan Reed – Washington Redskins

Reed has not been an integral part of the Redskins offense all year. He has only scored double-digit fantasy points one time in six weeks. Thus making this a no-brainer.

K

Brett Maher – Dallas Cowboys

Maher has a good matchup on paper. However, the Falcons are solid against opposing kickers only giving up eight FGs in the Mercedes Benz Dome.

Defense

Kansas City Chiefs

There are only three words that I have to say here - Los Angeles Rams.

There you have your pine riders.

I hope you are still alive or just cruising into the playoffs. These next couple of weeks could be very critical if you are just barely breathing.

Good Luck!
