Week 4 Fantasy Football Starts/Sits

Each year fantasy football is one of the biggest money-making industries in the world. Many so-called experts try to predict line-ups for the common player as well. Here at Rat Pack Sports, we are entering our fifth season of presenting our starts and sits. We do not give you players like Saquan Barkley, Tom Brady, and Odell Beckham Jr. Those names are automatic if you have them on your roster. We are here to give you the less common starters. Names you might not think of. Therefore, without further ado here are your Starts and Sits for Week Four of the 2019 NFL Season.

Starts

QB Daniel Jones – New York Giants Jones had a fantastic week 3 start against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Look for that start to continue in week 4 against the Washington Redskins. They have a very favorable defense for the young rookie to be successful for another week.

RB Marlon Mack – Indianapolis Colts Mack is the man in Indy. He is performing way above my expectations on this young season. He has a great matchup against the Oakland Raiders in week 4. That defense is allowing an average of 5.4 yards per carry to opposing backs.

WR Terry McLaurin – Washington Redskins McLaurin is the lone bright spot for the Redskins offense. He set an NFL record on Monday night for being the first NFL Rookie WR to have at least 5 rec and a TD in each of his first three games. Look for that to continue against the Giants.

TE Darren Waller – Oakland Raiders Waller is available in a lot of leagues. If he is still available in your league go and grab him. He has a strong matchup against the Colts who give up 16 FPPG to TEs in the first three games.

K Joe Slye – Carolina Panthers Slye is the number one fantasy kicker in the NFL right now. While Kyle Allen had a strong start last week against the Arizona Cardinals, they could struggle a little more to find red zone opportunities against the Houston Texans. Giving Slye ample opportunities.

Defense Jacksonville Jaguars The Jaguars are a strong play against a struggling Denver Broncos offense. They may be without Jalen Ramsey, however with the play of the d-line and others it may not matter. Now the players to avoid in week one.

Sits

QB Gardner Minshew – Jacksonville Jaguars Minshew has been the talk of the NFL after his fantastic start. However, a road matchup against the Broncos is making me question whether to play him. Since 2018 QBs who play at Mile High are ave less than 15 FPPG.

RB Devonta Freeman – Atlanta Falcons The offense of the Falcons is up and down. Freeman is struggling to find his way. He is averaging less than four yards per carry through three games. This week against the Tennessee Titans makes him a strong sit.

WR Stefan Diggs – Minnesota Vikings Diggs is a big question mark for fantasy heading into week 4. The Vikings are no longer a pass-first offense making it hard to play anyone not named Adam Thielen. Diggs ranks 76th among fantasy WRs. Play him with caution.

TE O.J. Howard – Tampa Bay Buccaneers Howard was available for Jameis Winston a lot last week. It showed with 66 yards in the loss. However, he only has nine targets in three games. Also, a road game against the Rams makes him a no go in week four.

K Dan Bailey – Minnesota Vikings Bailey put up big fantasy numbers last week against the Raiders. This week they have a stingy Bears defense. Do not look for Minnesota to do much. This will be a low scoring game as the Bears have only allowed five FPPG to kickers.

Defense

Cleveland Browns The Browns were everybody's favorite heading into 2019. Now they are playing right back into “How Cleveland of you”! This defense is only averaging three FPPG after three weeks. A matchup against the incredible Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens could make that average go down.
