Week 7 Fantasy Football Starts/Sits

Each year fantasy football is one of the biggest money-making industries in the world. Many so-called experts try to predict line-ups for the common player as well. Here at Rat Pack Sports, we are entering our fifth season of presenting our starts and sits. We do not give you players like Saquon Barkley, Tom Brady, and Odell Beckham Jr. Those names are automatic if you have them on your roster. We are here to give you the less common starters. Names you might not think of. Therefore, without further ado here are your Starts and Sits for Week seven of the 2019 NFL Season.

Bye Week: Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers,

Starts

QB Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills

Allen is coming off his bye week. What a great opponent to return against in the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins should help the Bills stay in the race of the AFC East. They have allowed 16 TDs and the most fantasy points to opposing QBs.

Tevin Coleman – San Francisco 49ers

Coleman has seen his share of carries in the Niners backfield since his return from an ankle injury. Next up is a favorable fantasy matchup against the Washington Redskins. Their defense is allowing 160 yards and the fifth-most fantasy points the RBs this season.

Calvin Ridley – Atlanta Falcons

With the struggles of the Falcons, it is hard to find a quality starter from the team outside of Julio Jones. However, Ridley has been hot this season. He has 14 or more fantasy points in four out of six games. He has at least one TD in that time as well.

Hunter Henry – Los Angeles Chargers

Henry was a welcome site for Philip Rivers in week six. He had 2 TD catches to propel him to a 30 point fantasy week. He could the same action this week against a Tennessee Titans defense that is allowing the third-most fantasy points to TEs.

Mike Nugent – New England Patriots

Nugent has done a fairly decent job of replacing Stephen Gostkowski. This is an excellent week to start him against a New York Jets defense that is allowing 10 or more fantasy PPG to kickers

Defense

San Francisco 49ers

The Niners are very strong play this week against the Washington Redskins. The Redskins offense is a turnover machine with 11 on the season and they also give up 10 or more fantasy points to opposing defenses.

Now the players to avoid in week one.

Sits

Teddy Bridgewater – New Orleans Saints

Bridgewater has looked like the TB that took the Minnesota Vikings to the playoffs. However, a matchup this week against the defense of the Chicago Bears does not lend for a solid fantasy matchup. Their defense is only allowing 10 fantasy PPG.

Jamaal Williams – Green Bay Packers

Williams led the Packers backfield last week. Thus making fantasy owners want to chase his production. However, a week seven matchup against the Oakland Raiders is unlikely to yield the same results. Oakland has only allowed one top 25 fantasy RB this season.

Robbie Anderson – New York Jets

Anderson had a surprising 24 fantasy points last week against the Dallas Cowboys. Do not expect that output this week against the New England Patriots. The Patriots are the number one defense in the NFL. Allowing just one TD and the least fantasy points to WRs.

Delanie Walker – Tennessee Titans

Walker and the Titans offense has struggled over the past three weeks. Delanie only has a combined 10 fantasy points in that time. I would keep him down this week against a Chargers defense that is only allowing 3.5 receptions per game to TEs.

Ka’imi Fairbairn – Houston Texans

Fairbairn is in a bit of a rut. He has six or fewer fantasy points in three of his last four games. He stays on the bench this week against a Colts defense that is only allowing 6 fantasy points to opposing kickers at Lucas Oil Stadium. Defense

Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks have had their ups this season. Nonetheless, they are down this week against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. Jackson and company are only allowing only five fantasy points to opposing defenses.

So, there you have it. Week seven in the NFL. Remember fantasy seasons are won and lost by not playing the waiver wire.
